My Fatburger

I usually go to Fatburger and play my favorite compilation of music on their jukebox. The compilation includes a number of songs from the '80 rock band "The Cars" and ZZ Top, along with the Eurythmics and various other artists that change here and there depending on who's working or eating. I, personally love going there in the late morning or early afternoon. I really enjoy chatting with the staff. I find chatting with Michelle at Fatburger is quite the hoot. She's the sort of person who reminds me of those waitresses you see in the movies with the retro hair and glasses style. If your ever in White Rock and want to some to bring smiles to your face, Michelle is the woman to do it! I found it quite funny when I tell people my favorite place is Fatburger. One person told me after they visited Fatburger, that she wouldn't had gone there if it wasn't for her friend. She told me the idea of going to a place called Fatburger was repugnant to her, and in deed to the many people I've talked to. The truth will eventually come out that Fatburger is generally healthier than the other guys and tastes way better. The downside is you need to wait for 6-8 minutes to eat rather than having some kid in the back nuke your hamburger just before you eat it. The name Fatburger while we are talking about it comes from the late 40's when Lovey Yancey named it originally called Mr. Fatburger. Later it was renamed Fatburger. in the early 50s'. I think '52 to be precise. So don't be scared to death about the name and if your a vegan or just don't eat red meat. Fatburger does have Turkey, Chicken and Veggie Burgers too.
